Star Wars Writer Timothy Zahn Says Thrawn Would Have Kylo Ren For Breakfast

Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) might have become the new Supreme Leader of the First Order in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but Star Wars writer Timothy Zahn thinks that Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia's (Carrie Fisher) estranged son wouldn't stand a chance against Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Sure Thrawn might not be alive during the time of the sequel trilogy, but if he were, then the Heir to the Empire author thinks that Kylo Ren would be beaten quite easily by the Chiss Grand Admiral. Not only is Thrawn far more analytic compared to Kylo Ren, but Zahn says that he actually feels that Ren's buttons are just way too easy to push and manipulate.

"Thrawn would have this guy for breakfast. Somebody who's competent reading could manipulate him all over the place," Zahn explained.

The Star Wars writer does have a point. After all, Thrawn is a hard-worn strategist, a non-human who's risen up the ranks of the Empire to become a top Imperial military commander despite the organization's racist views. With his experience and his sharp, strategic mind, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see Kylo Ren falling under the manipulations of Thrawn – if the two somehow met in the same timeline.

What do you think? Would Thrawn be able to outsmart Kylo Ren? Or vice versa?
