Star Wars: What to Expect in The Mandalorian Season 2

The first season of The Mandalorian might be over but that doesn't mean it's going to be a depressing 2020. After all, Disney+ has already confirmed the Star Wars series for a second season. But what can fans expect in The Mandalorian Season 2? Here are a few important things that the season finale revealed that could give us a clue on what will happen next.

SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In Chapter 8: Redemption, Mando got exactly that. He was finally redeemed after causing his fellow Mandalorians to get into trouble in the previous episodes. When he returns to the Armorer, he is told that he would need to take care of the Child, which the Armorer finally referred to as a Jedi.

Amazingly, the Armorer declared that Baby Yoda is now part of his clan, which has been dubbed the Mudhorn clan. Mando, whose real name is Din Djarin (don't ask me, I didn't name him), was given the task to find the Child's people. However, if he doesn't succeed, he would have to care for Baby Yoda until the child comes of age and becomes an official member of their clan of two.

It's an awesome way to tease at what will happen in The Mandalorian Season 2. This would mean that Mando and Baby Yoda will be exploring new territories in an effort to find the Child's people. In addition to that, we could learn more about the mysterious species soon.

Mando and Baby Yoda's mission isn't the only thing that was hinted at in the season finale. The episode also concluded with Moff Gideon cutting his way out of the destroyed TIE Fighter (yes, he had one) with a dark saber. There is little doubt we'll see more of this weapon in Season 2.

The Mandalorian Season 1 Episode 8 is currently streaming on Disney+.
