Well, it looks like we're getting a new TV spot for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker every 12 hours at this point. Interestingly, the new teaser now offers a glimpse at a lightsaber duel in Kijimi's Thieves Quarter as well as a clue about Rey's shocking secret.
The TV spot still features the epic chase between the heroes and the Stormtroopers but you can also find interesting new shots. For instance, there's a brief glimpse at Rey and Kylo Ren preparing for a duel in what appears to be the Thieves Quarter of Kijimi, the snowy planet where Zorri Bliss resides.
So does this scene mean something significant? It might be connected to Rey's true origins since it was previously speculated that she's actually from Kijimi herself. In addition to that, Kylo Ren drops an interesting line directed at Rey. "I know who you are," he tells her. But then he adds, "I know the rest of your story."
We're not quite sure what it means but it sounds like Kylo had known about Rey's identity as well as her destiny. Could this mean that the two share a history that only Kylo can remember? We only need to wait a few more days to find out.
The synopsis for The Rise of Skywalker reads as follows:
"A year after the events of The Last Jedi, the remnants of the Resistance face the First Order once again—while reckoning with the past and their own inner turmoil. Meanwhile, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax, bringing the Skywalker saga to a definitive end."
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
