Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker Releases One More Teaser Ahead of Trailer Drop

A lot of people are excited for the release of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker for Monday Night Football, but Lucasfilm has dropped one more teaser that actually gives away a lot.

Check it out:

Besides what looks to be a floating iceberg of a planet, we also get to see the Millennium Falcon fly with several other ships—the most we've ever seen in a film. We don't know if this is the Resistance fleet, but some are spotting the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels right behind the Falcon's left. You think they'll actually give us a live-action Hera Syndulla?

For now, Lucasfilm has been very coy when it comes to the teasers, and we've only seen so little of the movie. Seeing that this is the final film in the entire Skywalker Saga, I'm expecting a lot of big things to happen. The problem is Lucasfilm will also have to try their best and hide the bigger reveals while keeping everyone excited for the movie.

Hopefully they don't resort to Marvel Studios tactics and have digitally altered scenes made specifically for the trailer.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set for a release on Dec. 20, and the final trailer debuts on Monday Night Football later tonight.
