Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Actor Teases Major Franchise News Coming Soon

It looks like we'll be getting some major Star Wars news soon. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Greg Grunberg has just teased that there is something to look forward to in the near future and it could have something to do with the franchise's upcoming projects.

Grunberg posted about the upcoming announcement on his official Twitter account. Check it out below.

It's important to note that Grunberg didn't necessarily specify if it would be The Rise of Skywalker news. However, he did use the poster for the film so people believe it has something to do with the new film. On the other hand, it's still possible that the update is connected to other Star Wars projects.

It was already confirmed that Grunberg would reprise his role as Temmin 'Snap' Wexley in The Rise of Skywalker. The character had previously appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens but somehow disappeared in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Since Grunberg is known for his collaborations with director J.J. Abrams, it's no surprise that the character will be brought back in the final film in the Skywalker Saga.

There have been speculations that Disney and Lucasfilm are currently hard at work on finding someone to replace David Benioff and D.B. Weiss who have previous exited their planned Star Wars trilogy. Could the news have something to do with the project? Hopefully, we'll find out soon.

Grunberg will return as Snap Wexley in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is scheduled for release on December 20.
