Star Wars: The Mandalorian's Baby Yoda might be one of the most popular characters in the galaxy far, far away today, however, there's still a lot of mystery surrounding The Child.
Where did Baby Yoda come from? What does Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) want with The Child? Does Baby Yoda have any direct connection to Yoda? Or Perhaps to Yaddle?
Star Wars fans expect the second season of The Mandalorian to answer some of those questions, though we're not entirely sure what Lucasfilm might reveal later on. Interestingly enough, there have been a number of Baby Yoda fan theories making the rounds online, and one of the most recent posts suggests that Yaddle may make an appearance in the next batch of episodes of The Mandalorian.
For those who haven't followed the Star Wars franchise closely enough, Yaddle appeared in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace as part of the Jedi Council. The same species as Yoda, Yaddle was a mystery to many, and her fate in the Star Wars universe is largely unknown.
Because of this, Screen Rant believes that Yaddle could make an appearance in The Mandalorian. Stepping away from the council before the Clone Wars, it seems highly unlikely that Yaddle would have become a victim to Order 66, though the Empire could have pursued her for being a powerful Force User.
However, without any confirmation from Star Wars, there's potential for Yaddle to make a surprise appearance in The Mandalorian. After all, what better way to add to the show's lore than by having a prequel trilogy character of the same species as Baby Yoda make an appearance in the series?
What do you think? Should Yaddle appear in Season 2 of The Mandalorian? Let us know in the comment section below.
