Star Wars: The Mandalorian just recently wrapped up its first season with an action-packed episode along with a lot of revelations. And while it has only been a few days since the first season's finale episode was released, there's already news circling the net about the show's second season, and it seems like there are tons of surprises in store for Star Wars fans.
According to a recent report from Deadline, insiders close to the outlet have hinted that "several established characters" from the Skywalker Saga will be featured in The Mandalorian's second season.
That being said, the outlet did not specify nor put out a hint as to who will be appearing in the show in the near future. Of course, there are a lot of possibilities in terms of the characters they choose to include in the show. Add the fact that The Mandalorian is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, there could be a slight possibility that Luke Skywalker would make an appearance in the second season.
Other potential characters to appear could be Obi-Wan Kenobi or even Boba Fett, who is a character that fans have been wanting to see since the show was initially announced. Given the show's timeline, the sky is the limit basically, and it is likely that the characters to be featured will be familiar faces.
And while this news is definitely exciting, it has not been officially confirmed yet. Regardless, fans are already hyped to see the second season and to potentially see their favorite characters in The Mandalorian series.
