Star Wars: The Mandalorian Gets Referenced in Jeopardy! And Giancarlo Esposito has the Best Reaction

At this point, everyone knows about The Mandalorian, thanks to the popularity of Baby Yoda. So it's no surprise that Jeopardy! recently made a reference to the beloved Star Wars series. Interestingly, Giancarlo Esposito has the best reaction to the show being mentioned in the game show.

Esposito recently took to Twitter to share a screencap of a fairly easy Jeopardy! question. "There are Jawas, bounty droid IG-11 & Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon in this Disney+ show that debuted in 2019," it read. However, it was the Breaking Bad star's caption that had fans laughing. Check it out below.

"Pretty sure I know this one," Esposito wrote. To be honest, I can almost hear him saying this one in Gideon's voice.

It's interesting to note that the question made no mention of Baby Yoda, who is undoubtedly the true star of the series. After all, that would have been a little too obvious, right?

Esposito is currently expected to return as Gideon in The Mandalorian Season 2 considering that the character miraculously survived the events in the previous season finale. Although fans thought that Gideon should have been killed when his TIE Fighter exploded in Redemption, he was later shown cutting his way out of the ship with nothing less than the Darksaber. Needless to say, we can expect to see Gideon continue the pursuit of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda later this year.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is set to premiere on Disney+ by October.
