It looks like fans are in for a lot of major content from The Mandalorian before the premiere of its third season. It has just been confirmed that the Star Wars series is getting its own manga that will be published in the Big Gangan magazine this May!
The update was shared on Twitter, confirming that the new manga based on The Mandalorian will be created by Spider-Man Fake Red mangaka Oosawa Yusuke. Although details about the manga have not yet been revealed, the first chapter is already expected to be published in Big Gangan Issue #6 which will be released on May 25, 2022.
This is awesome news for fans who have been craving some new content from The Mandalorian. In addition to that, it's a new medium for the successful franchise which is also set to get its own comic book series. Needless to say, 2022 is going to be a big year for the franchise.
But when exactly are we getting The Mandalorian Season 3? There were previous speculations that the series could return a lot earlier this year with some believing that the third season will be dropped in summer. However, it has since been confirmed that the show will not be back until much later in 2022.
For now, the official release date for The Mandalorian Season 3 has not yet been announced. However, it has already been confirmed that the third season has wrapped production and is now in post-production. Needless to say, we could be getting some updates next month.
