Are you ready for the third episode of The Mandalorian? It's finally here and yes, it's got more Baby Yoda (surprise, surprise). In addition to that, there are unexpected discoveries that could change everything you knew about the Galactic Empire.
WARNING: The following contains spoilers from The Mandalorian Chapter 3: The Sin, proceed with caution.
The third episode of The Mandalorian is titled Chapter 3: The Sin and it isn't long before we realize why it's called that. After a quick (and downright adorable) interaction with Baby Yoda (yes, we're allowed to call him that now), the bounty hunter doesn't waste time in bringing the target to The Client.
It's unbearably heartbreaking especially when Baby Yoda keeps looking back at Mando, who shows some concern for the Child by asking what the Client is planning for his little friend. The Client refuses to tell him and instead gives Mando what he was promised: a camtono of Beskar steel.
Naturally, the bounty hunter immediately brings his beskar to the Armorer and asks for a completely new suit. The beskar swiftly brings out other Mandalorians and we're treated to a history lesson on what happened in their planet. As it turns out, the Jedi weren't the only ones who were taken out by the Galactic Empire. It is revealed that the Mandalorians suffered from "the Great Purge" which is pretty much the Order 66 for their race.
Anyway, Mando seems ready to move on now that he has a new suit and visits Greef Carga asking for a new job. He chooses one that should take him away from the planet but suddenly changes his mind and goes back to rescue Baby Yoda.
It's a surprising (yet awesome) decision for the Mandalorian but also one that makes him the new target of every bounty hunter in the area. However, his fellow Mandalorians have his back and help him escape. So what's a wanted man supposed to do now that he has the most valuable bounty in his career and nowhere to go? We'll find out next week.
Chapter 3: The Sin is an awesome episode that shows us a different side of Mando but also displays the skills of director Deborah Chow. After watching this episode, you will realize why Chow was chosen to direct the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
The Mandalorian Chapter 3: The Sin is currently streaming on Disney+.
