Star Wars: The Last Jedi Comic Reveals Luke's Final Thoughts Before His Death

Star Wars: The Last Jedi was already pretty great, but with the comics, fans can get a broader look at the story thanks to the comic allowing people to explore characters' thoughts. The TLJ comic gave us a look at Leia's thoughts before she harnessed the Force, and now we have an idea of what Luke was thinking before he disappeared.

This was shared by the comics' writer Gary Whitta. Check it out:

Fans shouldn't be too sad to see Luke Skywalker go away. After all, Hamill has been confirmed to return in Star Wars Episode IX. We have no idea to what extent Luke will be in the story, but I have a feeling that he'll be alongside Rey for most of the time; if he ever pops up to annoy Supreme Leader Kylo, I think that would also be great.

Some fans may think that The Last Jedi was a divisive movie, but the cold facts are that the movie was very well received and the film as of now is one of the highest selling DVDs of 2018. It's just the case of the haters being louder than everyone else.

Personally I thought the movie was great, and I'm happy that Rian Johnson was able to subvert all expectations. I wouldn't have wanted the film to end the way everyone was already predicting. Who would want that?

Luke Skywalker will return for Star Wars Episode IX which comes out Dec. 20, 2019.
