Star Wars: The Force Awakens Actress Reveals Jess Pava's Fate in The Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker may have solved several mysteries but there are still a lot of questions that were left unanswered. For instance, what happened to Jess Pava? Several fans have been wondering if the character made it to the end of the Skywalker Saga. Luckily, we finally have the answer from Jessica Henwick herself.

Henwick played Jess in Star Wars: The Force Awakens but the character was notably absent both in Star Wars: The Last Jedi as well as The Rise of Skywalker. So does this mean Jess was killed in the opening sequence of The Last Jedi? The former Game of Thrones actress told The Hollywood Reporter that although the Resistance pilot was nowhere to be seen in Episode IX, she's doing quite well.

"Yes! Jess Pava is alive and well," Henwick said. "You can read up on all her adventures in new spinoff comic books. So, don't worry, she's doing great. She's living her best life."

It's an interesting update considering that we haven't heard from Jess for a long time. Luckily, it looks like she's been off to a new adventure and we'll finally get to learn more about the character in the comics soon.

Henwick might not be returning to Star Wars soon but the Iron Fist star still has her hands full. It was previously reported that she will be joining the cast of The Matrix 4 alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Keanu Reeves, and Carrie-Anne Moss. Needless to say, we'll be seeing more of Henwick in the near future.
