Star Wars: The Clone Wars Came Out as the Most Tweeted About Show from SDCC 2018

Last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con came with a lot of reveals for several shows, but probably the biggest was the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. After a poll on Twitter, Clone Wars came out to be the most tweeted about show from SDCC 2018.

Check it out:

Behind Clone Wars are Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, and Voltron respectively.

The Clone Wars had run for six seasons but was suddenly left unfinished after Disney acquired Lucasfilm. For years, fans have clamored for the show to have a proper resolution, and after all that outcry on the net, Dave Filoni and his team had finally announced that we'll be coming back to finish off the Clone Wars arcs of Anakin, Obi-Wan, and the rest of the gang.

Lucasfilm is said to be preparing to pump out 12 episodes, and that should cover all of their planned arcs from before that were dropped after Clone Wars was cancelled. What I'm hoping for is some references to the Disney era of Star Wars. We know Ahsoka makes an appearance in Rebels, but it would be amazing if we got a young Kanan Jarrus, or even an appearance from Maz Kanata.

No release date has been set for the next season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
