We already know that The Book of Boba Fett will follow the former bounty hunter trying to take control of Tatooine. However, it looks like the criminal underworld will be giving in without a fight. A new teaser for the upcoming Star Wars series pretty much confirms that a war is coming and Boba Fett is right smack in the middle of it all.
The new teaser for The Book of Boba Fett is titled Ready and it opens with Boba once again pointing out that he will rule with respect. However, this time, Fennec Shand has an interesting response. "In difficult times, fear is a sure bet," she tells him.
Fear might not be the only thing that's obvious in the teaser. It becomes clear that someone is hitting back at Boba. "These are just the first wave," Fennec tells him. "They're going to war."
Boba isn't even bothered. "Then we will be ready," he declares. That's exactly what we were hoping to hear from him.
There's plenty of new footage but not much that could reveal more about the little details. However, it does promise lots of action and that's exactly what we all want.
The Book of Boba Fett will focus on Boba and Fennec working together to take control of Tatooine but is also expected to reveal what happened to these characters in the past. A previous teaser also hinted at a flashback confirming how Boba escaped the Sarlacc pit. We will also find out how he and Fennec managed to track down Slave I.
The Book of Boba Fett brings back The Mandalorian stars Temuera Morrison as Boba and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The series will also introduce Jennifer Beals as a mysterious Twi'lek who could play a major part in the show. See them all in action when the series premieres on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
