Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett New Promo Teases More Sarlacc Pit Action

We already know that The Book of Boba Fett will show us how the former bounty hunter managed to escape the Sarlacc pit he fell into in Return of the Jedi. Not surprisingly, it wasn't an easy task at all. The new teaser for the Star Wars series features new footage of Boba's fight for survival and naturally, he had to resort to violence to survive!

The new promo for The Book of Boba Fett is titled Arrival and it opens with a mysterious voice asking who has arrived unannounced. "You know damn well who," Boba answers as he enters with Fennec Shand and a captive.

We once again get Boba's awesome introduction of himself where he declares that he was "left for dead on the sands of Tatooine." The footage of Jawas walking through a sandstorm is featured yet again but we also see Boba fighting people off as if in a bid for freedom.

So what exactly happened to Boba Fett since he fell into the Sarlacc pit? There is a possibility that he managed to climb out but was too weak to fend for himself when the Jawas scavenged his belongings. Some believe he was later found and was mistaken for a Clone Trooper. This may be why he was taken to a facility to be revived only to fight his way out.

Each new teaser for The Book of Boba Fett has been featuring some previously-unseen footage from the Star Wars series. In the latest promo, we get a glimpse at a protocol droid similar to C-3PO. In addition to that, we're wondering about the character who Boba visited who seemed unhappy about his arrival.

The Book of Boba Fett will star Temuera Morrison as the former bounty hunter and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The series will also star Jennifer Beals, David Pasquesi, and Sophie Thatcher. It will premiere on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
