New The Book of Boba Fett Star has Awesome Connection to The Mandalorian

If you've seen yesterday's teaser for The Book of Boba Fett, you're probably wondering about the new character who showed up in the promo. A mysterious girl appeared briefly in the Throne teaser for the upcoming Star Wars series and had fans speculating about her identity. We may not know who the character is just yet but we do know that the actor playing her has a major connection to the lead star of The Mandalorian!

In the Throne teaser for The Book of Boba Fett, a girl on a speeder bike was featured and appeared to be getting ready to join a fight. The character is played by Sophie Thatcher, who was eager to confirm her involvement in the Star Wars show on social media.

Thatcher might be a newcomer but she has already worked with some big names. She previously appeared in the John Lithgow movie The Tomorrow Man. However, her big-screen debut was in 2018's Prospect where she starred alongside The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal.

It's great to know that Thatcher has followed Pascal into the Star Wars Universe and even landed what appears to be an awesome role in The Book of Boba Fett. There have been speculations that she will be playing an existing character in Star Wars (maybe a Force-user?) but we believe that Thatcher has been cast in a completely new role that may be more significant to either Fett or Fennec Shand's storyline. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
