Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2 Features Unexpected A New Hope Characters

We're just on the second episode of The Book of Boba Fett but the new Star Wars series is already helping fans fill in the blanks in the former bounty hunter's story. In addition to that, we're learning more about what happened to characters based in Tatooine. One of the coolest things about Episode 2 is that it brought back two lost characters who were supposed to appear in A New Hope! SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In Chapter Two: The Tribes of Tatooine, a lengthy flashback revealed how Boba Fett was slowly accepted by the Tusken Raiders who found him in the desert. The tribe teaches Fett how to fight with a gaffi stick and in return, he helps stop a train that regularly runs through their home.

To accomplish his mission, Fett heads for Tosche Station (!) where he takes on a biker gang that has been harassing two locals. He manages to save the couple and gets the thugs' speeder bikes which he intends to bring back to the Tusken Raiders.

The scene might be exciting considering that it's the first time we're seeing Tosche Station (which has been turned into a bar since Luke Skywalker flew away from Tatooine) but it also featured two familiar faces. The couple that the bikers were harassing is actually Camie and Fixer, Luke's friend from Anchorhead who originally appeared in the deleted A New Hope scene.

Camie and Fixer were regulars at Tosche Station so it made sense that they would be there when Fett arrived to open a can of whoop-ass on some bikers. It was a small reference but it certainly confirms that Luke's friends are canon despite being deleted from A New Hope in the past.

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
