Star Wars: The Bad Batch Trailer Confirms Clone Wars Characters and New Recruit

The Bad Batch is coming and a new trailer confirms we'll be seeing some familiar faces from Star Wars: The Clone Wars! In addition to that, Clone Force 99 may have recruited a young addition to the crew.

The trailer for The Bad Batch opens with Admiral Tarkin talking about Clone Force 99, claiming that the five enhanced clones are more capable than an entire army. However, he also notes that they have "a concerning level of disobedience and disregard for orders." That sounds like our boys, alright.

While Tarkin isn't very impressed with Clone Force 99, there's a young boy who appears to be a huge fan. Omega immediately identifies the members of the Bad Batch, which also allows new fans to learn their names.

They might be cool for the rest of us but Tarkin really doesn't like them. He wants Clone Force 99 "found and wiped out" and the clones aren't having any of it. As they escape, Hunter even invites the young boy Omega to join them.

It's great to see that there will be a young and mysterious character who will be joining the Bad Batch. However, the trailer is even better as it confirms the return of Saw Gerrera and we finally get to hear the young Fennec Shand speaking. Needless to say, we can't wait for May the Fourth!

In addition to the trailer, a new poster for The Bad Batch has been revealed. Check it out below.

The Bad Batch features the voices of Dee Bradley Baker, and Ming Na Wen. Forrest Whitaker is expected to provide the voice of Saw Gerrera as well. The series will premiere on Disney+ on May 4, 2021.
