What happened in Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 1?
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 1, Aftermath, we see the Bad Batch get Order 66 while in the assistance of the Jedi Knight Depa Billaba with Caleb Dume on Kallar. All of them got the memo except for Crosshair who felt the urge to execute. Hunter allows Caleb to escape.
They chanced upon Omega, a young clone that is as genetically as special as they are when they got back on Kamino. Moff Tarkin arrives for the evaluation on whether or not the clone army would be beneficial for the new Empire. Tarkin, then, received news from Crosshair about what happened on Kallar. This prompted him to send them to Onderon for the termination of some insurgents, a test of loyalty.
To their surprise, the so-called insurgents were from the Empire, fugitives led by Saw Gerrera. Because of this, the Bad Batch decided where their loyalty belongs to and went rogue. Upon returning to Kamino for Omega, they were captured. Crosshair was revealed to be under an inhibitor chip which gave him a program to go against the Bad Batch. To escape, they had to leave Crosshair behind at Kamino.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 1 Theories
Dave Filoni proves that he has the touch to make the title great whatever material he works on. The episode was such a treat that it has a cameo from both Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars Rogue One. Did you catch that? All in all, it was a 70-minute pure bliss to celebrate May the Fourth, the Star Wars Day, with such a treat as the premiere of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
A lot of theories, though, were either confirmed or formed in the first episode. The theory of Saw Gerrera leading the rebellion, Crosshair acting strange as something is going on in him, and the Clone Force 99 under the employ of the Empire were all proven to be true.
One lingering theory is that what would clones be following the war? With The Bad Batch finally arriving, this might get an answer. Also, with Omega's arrival, how will she influence the Bad Batch? Which clone is she? Is she force sensitive? Do you think they will still get Crosshair back? How will they deal with it? You, after watching the premiere, what are your thoughts and theories?
