Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 4 Gives Tech The Attention He Deserves

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 4 is finally here and this week, we got to catch up with Clone Force 99. Or, at least, three of them. Faster puts Hunter and Echo on the sidelines and shines the spotlight on Tech, Wrecker, and Omega. More importantly, the fourth episode of Season 2 finally gave Tech the attention he deserves.

In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 4, Cid takes Tech, Wrecker, and Omega to the desert planet of Safa Toma to check on her racer in Riot Racing. Although TAY-0 wins the first race, Cid is immediately coerced to bet on the next race by an old contact Grini Millegi who also has a racer.

It doesn't take long before Millegi's racer Jet Venim cheats and damages TAY-0. Cid tries to convince Millegi to give her time to pay him back but Omega steps in and makes a deal: If they lose the next race, Millegi will be paid double but if they win, Cid will be set free of her debts. Millegi agrees but takes Cid as collateral, leaving the rest to fix TAY-0 and their racer.

On the day of the next race, TAY-0 is run over, leaving the team with no racer. That's when Tech steps up and declares that he will be their racer. He gets a rocky start but Tech quickly comes up with a strategy that defeats the cheating Jet Venim and ultimately wins the race.

It's great to see Tech getting the attention he deserves considering that his brothers are always at the forefront of The Bad Batch. Needless to say, it's proof that each member of Clone Force 99 is important to the team and that is especially true with Tech.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 4 is titled Faster and features Ernie Hudson as Millegi and Ben Schwartz as TAY-0. The episode is now streaming on Disney+.
