We just got the first two episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and it looks like the new animated series is moving forward very quickly. The new teaser for Episode 3 has teased at the arrival of a young Fennec Shand.
Fennec hardly needs an introduction but in case you forgot, she was first introduced in The Mandalorian. The assassin is played by Ming-Na Wen and she's set to return in the new Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett. But before that, we'll see the younger and animated version of Fennec in The Bad Batch.
But will Fennec actually show up much sooner than expected? The new teaser for The Bad Batch Episode 3, which is titled Mercenaries, offers a brief glimpse at Fennec as Clone Force 99 decide to work as guns for hire. Is it possible that their new mission will put them in direct contact with the assassin? We'll find out for sure next week.
It's no surprise that the remaining members of Clone Force 99 are looking for a way to make some money. After all, they are currently on the run from the Galactic Empire and will need to find other ways to get paid. Considering that they have a certain skill set, it would be awesome to see Hunter, Tech, Echo, and Wrecker taking on dangerous new missions soon.
The Bad Batch Episode 3 has not yet been given an official title. In addition to that, it is not yet confirmed whether Fennec Shand will make her animated debut next week. Nevertheless, the new episode is already scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on April 14.
