We all know for a fact that the Star Wars live-action universe can only cover several stories which is why it's a good thing that the franchise has expanded its content through the pages of Marvel Comics. Speaking of, the final series in Qi'ra's trilogy is set to hit stores in a couple of months and it already promises to be a must-read.

Star Wars' official website recently unveiled our first look at the upcoming comic book series Star Wars: Hidden Empire #1 and it seems to tease the death of the beloved anti-hero who was one of the main fixtures in 2018's Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Having trained under Darth Maul's tutelage, Qi'ra has made it her lifelong mission to not only destroy the Sith but to once and for all eradicate Palpatine aka Darth Sidious. The miniseries will feature an epic clash between the two and according to writer Charles Soule (via The Direct), the final act in the trilogy of stories centered on Qi'ra will be the character's "endgame".

Soule says: "This new story is designed to deliver the big finale to Qi’ra’s story — at least this phase of it. She emerged from years of hiding with an elaborate, incredible plan to bring down the Sith, and Hidden Empire is the endgame."

Of course, considering the series takes place between the original trilogy's Episodes V and VI, we already know that Han Solo's one-time lover isn't going to succeed in her attempt to vanquish Sidious. The real question is, will she actually die in Hidden Empire at the hands of the cunning Sith Lord or are we looking at another Mace Windu scenario here?

Star Wars: Hidden Empire #1 is scheduled to hit shelves in November.
