Star Wars: Squadrons Officially Revealed by EA, Trailer Coming on Monday

After some hilarious leaks, EA has finally confirmed the existence of Star Wars: Squadrons, a new game that we will know more about soon enough. The game was already leaked as a new title called Project Maverick and then Xbox accidentally leaked its official title so, naturally, EA had to reveal it. It also looks like we won't have to wait too long to see more of the game since it was announced that the reveal trailer would be coming out this Monday, on June 15.

Because the tweet below uses the line "pilots wanted," it looks like this is a game that is going to be based on space fights, which is great. Games like Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader still resonate with a lot of fans and some of the space fights in Battlefront II were really fun as well so this is a pretty smart move.

We won't have to wait too long to see the game in action but I'm sure it's going to look good. Say what you will about EA but they know when to use their money to make a game look nice so here's hoping that the gameplay itself looks appealing.

Star Wars: Squadrons will get its first trailer this Monday, on June 15. It's not yet known when it will officially come out and if it will be a current-gen title or a next-gen one but we'll find out soon enough. Let's just hope that it's fun.
