It's Star Wars Day and everyone is celebrating the beloved franchise. Not surprisingly, even Samuel L. Jackson is paying tribute to Star Wars and he's doing so by putting on an awesome Mace Windu quote T-shirt.
There is little doubt that Mace had a lot of memorable lines in the Star Wars prequel trilogy films as well as Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Perhaps the coolest one is a quote that the Jedi Master didn't actually say. Take a look at Jackson's amazing post below.
"Correctamundo. And that's what we're gonna be. We're all gonna be cool, just like Yoda. -- Mace Windu," Jackson's shirt reads. Now if that doesn't quite sound like something Mace would say, it's because it's actually a line from Pulp Fiction.
In the Quentin Tarantino movie, Jackson's Jules Winnfield ends up in a diner stand-off with Ringo (Timothy Roth) and Yolanda (Amanda Plummer). When Jules grabs Ringo and points a gun to his face, Yolanda starts freaking out and Jules manages to convince her to be like "three little Fonzies".
The truth is, Jackson's actual line doesn't feature the "just like Yoda" part but we're still loving his T-shirt. After all, it's a hilarious pop culture reference at two of Jackson's most loved roles.
But is it possible that we'll eventually get to see Jackson return as the Jedi Master? The Marvel Cinematic Universe star has repeatedly expressed his interest in reprising the role in a Star Wars project. For now, Lucasfilm has not yet made anything official but we're hoping that Mace will be back soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
