Bounty hunters are an essential part of the Star Wars franchise. And with the release of The Mandalorian, we'll get to see the story of the infamous bounty hunter, Boba Fett. His character was always considered as one of the top-tier bounty hunters, but as it turns out, there could be someone better than him.

This article contains spoilers for Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - Allegiance #3.

The third issue of Allegiance includes the story of Remex, a shape-shifter. As usual, he's on the hunt for treasures, as well as bounties. However, he had his eyes set on the First Order's bounty that was placed on Finn, who was allegedly spotted heading to Avedot.

In order to get Finn, Remex shifts into a waitress and tries to get some info on Finn at a cantina. Compared to Boba Fett, Remex tries his best to work "from the shadows." He had a chance to follow Finn's team at the outpost and shifted as one of Finn's crew. He then successfully takes out the stragglers, blowing his cover while doing so. He then attempts to go after Finn, with the help of Kendoh and Wooro.

In the process of capturing Finn, he transforms into different creatures. Remex proves to be a powerful creature when he knocks out Finn, using his bare hands, whilst disguised as a Wookie. This shows his edge from Boba Fett who always uses weapons whenever he's on a hunt.

Unfortunately, Wooro aimed wrong and accidentally stuns Remex. This gave Finn and Poe some time to work on a plan to escape. They're still trapped though, but the bounty hunters are still at an advantage. Given how Remex could secretly be powerful, and Finn now so close to his grasp, he has the potential to go all out and prove himself to be a top bounty hunter and opponent (via CBR).

Of course, there are still some fans who would think different regarding Boba Fett's capabilities. After all, there hasn't been a story where a fair match could be seen between the two in order to identify who is actually a better bounty hunter. At the end of the day, it could still be the fans' preference and opinions on who is actually the best bounty hunter in the galaxy.

For now, we will get to see Boba Fett in action when Star Wars: The Mandalorian premieres November 12 on Disney+.
