Star Wars Reveals How Ben Solo Became the Leader of the Knights of Ren

There is little doubt that people are still wondering how Ben Solo ended up becoming the leader of the Knights of Ren although the Skywalker Saga is now over. Luckily, we finally have the answer courtesy of a new Star Wars comic book. Interestingly, The Rise of Kylo Ren wasn't an easy journey but it proved that he hasn't fully embraced the Dark Side of the Force.

In The Rise of Kylo Ren #4, Ben had been a part of the Knights of Ren, which is still being led by the mysterious Ren. Unfortunately, one of their missions leads to an encounter with one of Ben's former acquaintances. Ren immediately saw this as a chance to check on Ben's loyalty and tells the former Jedi to kill his old friends. At first, it seemed like Ben was not going to murder the other Jedi. Unfortunately, Ren decided to act first and snapped the other Jedi's neck.

It was a painful thing to watch for Ben and he snaps back at Ren with stunning power. Ben uses Force lightning to take down the leader of the Knights of Ren and stabs him to death.

Interestingly, Ben's actions were felt by several other Force users including his own mother Leia Organa and Rey in Jakku. Nevertheless, they were too far away to prevent Ben from killing Ren.

The comic series is certainly giving fans a deeper look into how Ben operates but is he too far gone to return to the Light Side?
