New Star Wars Report Sheds Light on Ezra Bridger's Return in Ahsoka Series


A lot of Star Wars fans have been looking forward to the upcoming Ahsoka series. Not only it will feature the return of Rosario Dawson as the beloved Jedi in the leading role, but it will also bring back the main Rebels characters in the live-action format this time around.

The series is also expected to address the end of Rebels as they're going to feature Ezra Bridger's return after his ambiguous fate in the finale of the animated series. Now, we have some potential details regarding the character's highly anticipated return.

A recent report from Making Star Wars sheds some light on Ezra Bridger's appearance in the upcoming series. According to them, he will have an eventful reunion with Ahsoka and Sabine Wren, who is also confirmed to have a pivotal role in the series.

The trio will battle a new group battalion of soldiers called the "Sarassia" Stormtroopers, who are described as having "golden cracks” or “yellow veins" in their armor. They are sent by Thrawn and the two new characters that are serving under him, Shin and Babylon.

While the report didn't give us any more specific details, it is still exciting nonetheless that Ezra will be involved in some awesome battle sequences and it looks like the character will indeed have a pivotal role in the series besides just showing us his return and latest status post-Rebels.

It would also be interesting to see how they will show his reunion with the other characters after all these years and its impact on the main plot of the story as well as the titular character's journey.

Besides Dawson, the series also stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo (as Sabine Wren), Eman Esfandi (as Ezra Bridger), Hayden Christensen (as Anakin Skywalker), Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, and Ray Stevenson. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are developing the series with the former serving as the lead writer and producer.
