Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk are set to reprise their roles in the upcoming Rogue One prequel series. Aside from the two, Genevieve O'Reilly is expected to return as well. It looks like there'll be more familiar faces to appear, as two more Star Wars alums are rumored to return for the Cassian Andor series as well.

According to Bespin Bulletin, Jimmy Smits is in talks to appear on the show. Known as the viceroy and senator of Alderaan, fans will immediately recognize the name, seeing as he played the role of Bail Organa in the Prequel Trilogy and reprised the role in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Not only that, but the outlet also claims Alistair Petrie is in talks to return as well. The actor made his Star Wars debut in Rogue One as General Draven, serving as a general.

While it is a no-brainer for these actors to reprise their Star Wars roles for the prequel series, it's certainly exciting for fans to see them again.

The outlet pointed out that the series was initially set to start filming in June. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, production was shut down. Now, the show is reportedly aiming to restart work sometime in July, already with "a lot" of props made "sitting in a warehouse."
