Star Wars' Pedro Pascal Reveals The Mandalorian's Name

Along with the recent launch of Disney+ is the highly anticipated Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. One of the mysteries of the show is the titular bounty hunter's real name, played by Pedro Pascal. And even though fans expected that the name-drop wouldn't be till the middle of the season, it looks like the character won't remain nameless now.

In a recent interview with ScreenSlam, Pascal talked about the series and descriptions regarding his character. What fans didn't expect, is that the actor would actually reveal the bounty hunter's name. Seen at the 2:30 mark of the clip, Pascal mentioned his character's name. You can check it out below.

It's certainly surprising that the "Man with No Name" won't remain nameless now since Pascal revealed it in his interview. That being said, it isn't exactly sure whether or not the actor made the revelation by accident or if he actually intended to make the name-drop in the interview. Regardless, we now know that the lead's name is Din Jarren, or it could be Dyn Jarin, for now, the official spelling, of course, isn't revealed yet.

Pascal then went on to describe his character as someone "cool, flawed, mysterious," and is said to be a "loner gunslinger." The bounty hunter "harkens to the best of the samurai movies and the westerns." He also mentioned that the idea is to make his character relatable. Where he's covered in armor because everyone is somehow "covered" in their own armor and are "terrified" to take it off.
