Star Wars Actor Pedro Pascal Reveals Accident Before Filming The Mandalorian’s Unmasking Scene

Pedro Pascal might have a lot of star power coming from projects like Triple Frontier, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and of course HBO's hit series Game of Thrones, however, for the actor was kept masked for the most part of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

The series had only one scene where fans got to see what Din Djarin looked like underneath his helmet, and while Mando looked a little worse for the wear unmasked, Disney Gallary: The Mandalorian reveals that Pascal had been injured before the big face scene.

In the latest episode of Disney's behind-the-scenes series (via The Insider), Pascal talks about the troubles he had working on The Mandalorian, and it turns out that the actor actually got into an accident before rehearsing Din Djarin's big unmasking moment in Jon Favreau's hit Star Wars series.

"I stepped out of the makeup trailer looking at my sides and walked into a piece of plywood," Pascal revealed while talking with The Mandalorian executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.

Pascal had to go to the hospital because of his injury. The Star Wars actor had cut the bridge of his nose and had to have seven stitches to fix his face up.

While most actors would take a little break after getting into an accident like Pascal's, The Mandalorian star immediately went back to work to film the big unmasking scene. The injury didn't really get in the way because Mando was supposed to be in pretty bad shape in the Season 1 finale of the series.

Looks like Pascal accidentally went all method for The Mandalorian.
