Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Leaked Toys Reveal New Lightsabers

The premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi is still a few months away but fans are already digging for new information about the highly anticipated Star Wars series. So it's no surprise that the first images of upcoming merchandise for the show have been leaked. Interestingly, the awesome toys may confirm new lightsabers for both the Jedi Master and Darth Vader!

The Obi-Wan Kenobi toys were initially shared by ABC News but have since been posted on Reddit. The boxes for the toy lightsabers offer a glimpse at what Kenobi and Vader will look like in the Disney+ series. In addition to that, some fans are pointing out that Vader's lightsaber might have a different hilt than the one he used in A New Hope. Check it out here.

Fans are also quick to react to Kenobi's robes in the merchandise. After all, we could barely see it in the teaser poster for the series but it's great to finally get a better look at the Jedi Master's new look. Additionally, some have pointed out that Vader could be sporting a slightly different look in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Hopefully, we'll get an even better glimpse at the characters when the first trailer for the show is dropped.

But when exactly are we getting the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer? It might still be too early to tell but there are speculations that the first teaser will be dropped sometime in March. Hopefully, the trailer will come sooner than expected.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will bring back Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse. New cast members include Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine, and Rory Ross. The new Star Wars series will consist of six episodes and is scheduled for release on May 25, 2022.
