Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand appeared in just one episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and the character has seemingly met her demise when she was shot. However, it seems like this isn't the last time we'll see Fennec.

According to a rumor from That Hashtag Show, the Agents of SHIELD actress will be returning in season two. The outlet claims that Wen was on set of the Star Wars show and has filmed some new scenes. It remains to be seen how she will return but given that Bill Burr, whose character had a similar fate in the show, is expected to return as well, it wouldn't be a shock if Wen were to come back.

Viewers last saw Fennec left for dead at Tatooine. This was a result of the character convincing Toro Calican to release her and beat Din Djarin. Although she seemingly met her demise, the end of the episode showed a mysterious figure lurking over her body. Fans quickly made their own theories as to who it could be, ranging from speculations such as Moff Gideon, another bounty hunter, or an entirely new character.

In addition to the Fennec rumor, the outlet also claims that Sandtroopers and Imperial Gunners will return as well. This may suggest a return to Tatooine, and maybe a connection to Fennec Shand's resurrection. There's possibly a bigger role waiting for Fennec in the next season, but regardless of what's to come, it looks like exciting things are ahead, and fans can't wait to see more adventures with Mando.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 is currently set for release this October on Disney+.
