Star Wars: Ming-Na Wen Admits Geeking Out on The Book of Boba Fett Set

There is little doubt that working on a Star Wars show is a truly exciting job. So it's no surprise that Ming-Na Wen was thrilled when she was on the set of The Book of Boba Fett. The star of The Mandalorian admitted she regularly geeked out while filming for the Disney+ show but her co-star Temuera Morrison would always keep her grounded!

Ming-Na Wen originally debuted as Fennec Shand in the first season of The Mandalorian and although the character was seemingly killed off then, she has since returned and appeared in other Star Wars shows. Not surprisingly, Wen loved working on The Book of Boba Fett and admitted she would go into full fan-girl mode while she was on the set of the series.

"Trust me. Every time I get on a new set or in a new environment, and I see something that gets my nerdgasm going, I am beyond the biggest nerd on set," Wen told ET Canada. She then stated that her castmate Temuera Morrison is always on hand to keep her grounded.

"Usually, that lasts for about five minutes or so during rehearsal, and then when we have to buckle down, Tem is the one that will reel me back in and say, 'Okay, Ming, time to work,'" Wen continued. "Because we have way too much fun, and I think what was nice was that some of the humor that we had between us kinda snuck in to the relationship between Fennec and Boba."

It's great to know that Ming-Na Wen truly enjoyed being a part of The Book of Boba Fett. But does this mean we'll be seeing more of Fennec Shand in the future? Fans are hoping that Fennec and Boba Fett will be back in The Mandalorian Season 3. Hopefully, we'll get an official confirmation about their return soon.

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 3 will air on Disney+ on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
