Star Wars: Black Krrsantan Creator Shares Proper Way to Say Wookiee's Name

If you tuned in to the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, you were either thrilled to see a fierce-looking Wookie or overjoyed to finally see the same Wookie make his live-action debut. After all, nobody looked cooler than Black Krrsantan in Episode 2 of the Star Wars series. But what is the right way to pronounce his name? Comic book writer Kieron Gillen has shared the proper way to say the Wookiee's name.

Kieron Gillen helped create Black Krssantan in the comic book issue Darth Vader #1 (Salvador Larroca illustrated the character) so he should know a thing or two about the Wookiee bounty hunter. Not surprisingly, Gillen admitted that he often gets asked how Krrsantan's name is pronounced so he decided to share it on Twitter.

It looks like there's a bit of menace when you say the first part of Black Krrsantan's name which is only fitting considering what the Wookiee has been through in the comics. Hopefully, we are finding out how to say his name because we'll be seeing more of him on The Book of Boba Fett?

So what are the chances that Black Krrsantan will return in future episodes of the Star Wars series? There is a huge possibility that The Twins have not given up on taking back Jabba the Hutt's throne from the new Daimyo. Could this mean they will be sending the Wookiee to quietly dispose of Fett? The truth could be revealed next week.

Black Krrstantan is one of the best-known bounty hunters who has appeared in Star Wars Legends. The character was first introduced in the comic book issue Darth Vader (2015) where Kenobi pretty much confirmed that the Wookiees have disowned him for working for Jabba the Hutt. He is an excellent fight and even Fett has admitted that Krrstantan is one of Jabba's best bounty hunters. He was previously hired by Vader to track down an agent of the Emperor but has also worked with Doctor Aphra, who calls him Black K.

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 3 will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
