One of the most exciting things about the fifth episode of the Star Wars series The Mandalorian was the awesome introduction of the mercenary Fennec Shand. Not surprisingly, Ming-Na Wen is celebrating her character's debut in Chapter Five: The Gunslinger.

"Hi Five Friday with Chapter 5 of @themandalorian! You might recognize a @starwars geek girl fan in it!! Ahhhh!!! Directed by @dave_filoni!" Wen wrote as she shared the teaser for The Gunslinger.
We can't really blame Wen for being so excited about the episode. After all, her character's arrival is one of the most anticipated things about the series. However, we're just a little disappointed that Fennec only had a brief screentime in Chapter Five. Nevertheless, we're hoping to see more of her in the upcoming episodes.
In The Gunslinger, Fennec became Mando's target after Toro Calican told him about the mercenary. Although Mando was able to capture Fennec, she tried to turn the tables on him by telling Toro he was a wanted man by the bounty hunter guild. Toro then killed her so he could claim Mando's bounty himself.
Although it may seem like we've seen the last of Fennec, there are speculations that the character will be brought back by the mysterious figure that approached her body in the final moments of the episode. We're hoping for that, too, because we can't get enough of Fennec.
The fifth episode of The Mandalorian is currently streaming on Disney+.
