The newest trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian is out, and fans can't wait for the series to launch on Disney+. There's a lot to take in and the clip and fans are checking the clip frame by frame\ to spot some hints for the plot. Some details stood out from the trailer that may hint to a flashback and it caused quite a ruckus among the fans.

The Mandalorian is set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. However, fans are convinced that it might tackle a bit of a flashback to The Clone Wars. Redditor u/Crew_Joey16 spotted B2 Super Battle Droids in a scene where a family is frantically running amidst the chaos happening in the city. These are advanced battle droids used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. It is worth noting that these droids seem to have glowing red eyes.

A Heavy Missle Platform Droid Gunship was pointed out by Redditor u/TheEpicOneLB as well. Also referred to as HMP Predators, these are air speeders that were created by the Geonosians.

Since both of these things were spotted in the trailer, it could possibly confirm that The Mandalorian will give a glimpse of the live-action characters brought to life from the fan-favorite animated series The Clone Wars which made its debut back in 2008.

Although The Mandalorian takes place roughly 30 years after the Clone Wars, it's not entirely impossible that we'll get to see characters and stories from the series. And it's only a matter of time till we found out when Star Wars: The Mandalorian premieres on November 12.
