The Skywalker Saga will reach its conclusion when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres this December. On the other hand, the luxury automobile manufacturer, Porsche, will make a mark by introducing its first-ever all-electric vehicle. With that said, a fruitful partnership will be made between both parties and they sure have pretty big plans to celebrate.

Lucasfilm and Porsche will be doing a collaboration, along with the website Wired to document the whole process. These two companies will be "united by a shared appreciation and philosophy towards design," and they plan on making something "truly special." They're teaming up to put their creative minds at work to make a singular spacecraft.

Michael Mauer, VP Style Porsche, and Doug Chiang, VP Executive Creative Director at Lucasfilm, will co-captain The Designer Alliance to lead a team of design experts in order to make this idea come to life.

Porsche already teased a video regarding the collaboration about a week ago, but the clip was vague and it was speculated to only be an ad. However, a new video was recently released by the company titled Twin Tests, which shows the Porsche Taycan and an X-Wing being simultaneously tested in wind tunnels. You can check out the clip below:

The dedicated website by Wired contains information about the collaboration, as well as clips and sketches showing initial designs for the ship. The new spaceship will be unveiled at the premiere of The Rise of Skywalker, which is roughly two months from now.
