Star Wars: Mark Hamill's Son Shares This Old Message He Got from Harrison Ford

After more than 40 years of Star Wars, it's amazing how Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford still manage to be friends. What's cool is, Mark Hamill's son Nathan has found this old autographed photo from his "Uncle Harrison" and it gives us a peak of how funny Ford when he's around friends and family.

He posted this up on Twitter:

Though Ford may have finally said goodbye to the Han Solo role with The Force Awakens, Hamill will still be making his return in Episode IX. As for his son Nathan, he was able to cameo as a Resistance soldier in The Last Jedi. With Carrie Fisher's daughter getting to be a main player in the last film, I don't see why Nathan Hamill's soldier character Saile Minnau can't have an expanded role as well.

Star Wars Episode IX is currently undergoing production and is expected to wrap sometime around February of next year. A lot of hype is building up for the movie. Not only does everyone want a satisfying conclusion to the new heroes' arcs, but they also want a proper sendoff to General Leia as well.

Let's hope Abrams and company have all the footage they need.

Star Wars Episode IX comes out Dec. 20, 2019.
