Star Wars: Mark Hamill Supports 'Bigger Luke' Conspiracy

There is no shortage of theories about the Star Wars Universe. But how about a conspiracy theory involving Luke Skywalker? Mark Hamill has just revealed that he is aware of the "Bigger Luke" theory and even expressed his support for it.

Hamill recently shared some images on his official Instagram account, the first of which explained the "Bigger Luke" theory. You can check it out below.

"Luking for a really fun conspiracy? Luke no further. It's hard to believe how long we were able to fool everyone, but to be fair: the only time both of us appeared together at the same time was with Kermit on The Muppet Show," Hamill wrote. He then added the hashtag #BiggerThanRegular.

But what is the "Bigger Luke" theory? It is also called "BL" or "BgL" and it points out "the slightly larger manifestation of Luke Skywalker" that appears numerous times in the original Star Wars trilogy. It is believed that there is "an uncredited Mark Hamill look-alike who was used in certain scenes" in the movies.

Although using a body double should be a normal thing that's part of the movie-making process, it's still cool to see that fans have given it an awesome name. It's even cooler now that Hamill himself endorses the theory.

Interestingly, Luke's most recent return didn't prove the "Bigger Luke" theory again. After all, he has relatively short screentime in the final episode of The Mandalorian Season 2. On the other hand, he was definitely much larger than Baby Yoda.

For now, it is unclear if Luke will return in The Mandalorian Season 3. However, fans are hoping to see more of Hamill's character training Grogu to become a Jedi. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
