Star Wars Actor Mark Hamill Responds to Donald Trump Campaign Comparison to Death Star

Earlier this week, netizens were surprised to find US President Donald Trump's campaign manager comparing the 2020 campaign movement to the Death Star.

The post sparked a whole lot of comments on Twitter, and now it looks like Star Wars legend Mark Hamill's finally caught wind of the controversial parallelism. Responding to Brad Parscale's tweet comparing Trump's "juggernaut campaign" to the Death Star, Hamill responds by posting various quotes from the Star Wars franchise and a picture of the Millennium Falcon flying away as the Death Star blows up in outer space.

"Your overconfidence is your weakness"-"Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny"-"Who's the more foolish...the fool or the fool who follows him?" (& many MANY more)," Hamill wrote in his post.

Star Wars fans shouldn't be surprised by Hamill's response to Parscale's post. The Star Wars legend has been a staunch critic of the Trump administration and has made fun of the President a countless number of times in the past. Hamill's even gone as far as to read Trump's tweets in the voice of the Joker to show how villainous the President can sound sometimes.

Of course, we also find it odd why Parscale might compare the campaign to the Death Star. Everyone knows how the Death Star is a weapon of mass destruction used by the fascist Empire built by Darth Sidious. Why in the world would Parscale make that sort of comparison? Has he not seen Star Wars?
