Star Wars: Mark Hamill Reacts to Return of the Jedi 'Alternate Ending'

There is little doubt that fans are quite happy with how the original Star Wars trilogy films ended. However, that hasn't stopped some people from looking at possible conclusions. Mark Hamill recently came across an "alternate ending" for Return of the Jedi and it doesn't end well for Luke Skywalker!

In Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker goes up against Darth Vader for the second time but he manages to defeat the Sith Lord as well as Emperor Palpatine. But in a new fan-made video, a cat plays with action figures of the two characters and let's just say that Luke loses his head in this one.

It didn't take long for Mark Hamill to find the hilarious video and he immediately shared his thoughts on his character's painful encounter.

"Sometimes #Caturdays can be a real pain in the neck," Hamill wrote before adding the hashtag #Ouch.

We're loving the video as well as Mark Hamill's hilarious reaction. On the other hand, we're hoping that gigantic space cats don't exist in the Star Wars Universe since they seem to be siding with the Galactic Empire.

In the meantime, fans are finally set to meet the younger version of Luke Skywalker next month. It has already been confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi will introduce Grant Feely as young Luke and Mark Hamill has already given his blessing to the child actor. The two have been interacting on Twitter after Feely was announced to join the highly anticipated Star Wars series.

Luke Skywalker is also expected to play a major role in The Mandalorian Season 3. Although it has not yet been confirmed, fans are expecting Mark Hamill to reprise his role in the third season of the Disney+ series. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
