Star Wars: Mark Hamill Asks Fans to Stop DM-ing Him on Twitter

With more than two million followers on Twitter, it's no mystery that Mark Hamill definitely has a lot of fans. Whether it be from his role of Luke Skywalker or voicing the Joker, everyone wants a piece of him. Now Hamill has come out on Twitter to request fans to stop sending him direct messages.

No doubt, out of all the Star Wars actors, Hamill is the one who still manages to keep close with the fanbase, so it's no mystery that he would receive an endless barrage of fan requests. I guess it was just high time before he decided to do something about all of it.

Though he may have asked fans to stop sending him these DMs, I think he will still receive a lot of them. You can't expect to get more than two million followers online and not be bothered by any of them.

For now, Hamill has been confirmed as a member of the cast for Star Wars Episode IX. We don't know what form he will come back in officially, but it's a safe bet that we will see Luke as a Force Ghost. Not to mention, Carrie Fisher will also be back via some unused Force Awakens footage, and Billy Dee Williams will be reprising the role of Lando Calrissian.

Star Wars Episode IX comes out Dec. 20, 2019.
