Star Wars: Kevin Feige Said to Have Approached a ‘Major Actor’ for a Specific Role

With Iron Man director Jon Favreau working on The Mandalorian, it was only a matter of time before Kevin Feige was asked to work on Star Wars. Well, news has just dropped that Feige is developing a movie for Lucasfilm, and rumor has it that he already has a "major actor" in mind.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a source has told them that "Feige has told a major actor that there's a specific role he would like that person to play if and when he makes the movie." We don't have any further details than that, but everyone is assuming that this actor is already part of the MCU. The big question is who.

A lot of fans are thinking that the actor in Feige's head is Brie Larson, but seeing as he already has someone in mind to play a certain character, I'm thinking this character already exists in Star Wars and is not anything new. Personally, I'm hoping that he wants Chris Pratt to star as the EU's Dash Rendar. I know there still isn't any confirmation on Solo 2, but I would love Pratt to go head to head with Alden Ehrenreich's Han Solo. The only question is whether Pratt would be open to playing another Star-Lord type.

There's also this:

Of course, there are also several other actors that Feige could have approached, for several other characters. We don't have any idea what he has planned for the future, but I'm kind of hoping that Lucasfilm comes back to their "one movie a year" format.

For now, catch The Mandalorian when it debuts on Disney+ on Nov. 12.
