Star Wars Actor John Boyega Has Some Serious Plans for Marvel’s Infinity Gauntlet

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker star John Boyega might belong to an entirely different franchise, but it looks like the British actor who plays a stormtrooper-turned-resistance fighter in the galaxy far, far away wants his hands on Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet.

Locked up at home like the rest of the world thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems like Boyega hopes to use the Space Stone to take him away to Jamaica. Taking to Instagram, the Star Wars actor shared a picture of himself carefully trying to pick the Space Stone out of a prop of the Infinity Gauntlet from Avengers: Endgame. Boyega has a pretty bad case of cabin fever, and the Hollywood star desperately wants to get away.

"The space stone allows the user to make portals from one side of the universe to the other," Boyega writes in the caption of his post, "I'm using it to go to Jamaica! Keeping it local. I'm done with this shit!"

We can feel Boyega's frustration being cooped up inside all this while. The COVID-19 pandemic has been surging across the world for months on end, forcing most countries to stay on lockdown to contain the virus and flatten the curve of the outbreak.

While Boyega isn't up for any film just yet, the actor must be enjoying the opportunity to take a break after working on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the third and final entry in Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy.

The Skywalker saga is available for streaming on Disney+.
