Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Will Have Unlockable Character Skins

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is actually looking to be a solid single-player game from EA Games and Respawn. This seemed like an impossibility a few years ago when EA claimed that "single-player games are dead," which hasn't been the case in recent years. Now that we're a month away and the game has gone gold, various previews for Jedi: Fallen Order have been fairly nice to the game with one enticing thing fans will love: unlockable character skins.

We hate to overemphasize this point but the skins for lead character Cal Kestis won't be locked behind any paywalls or season passes, which sounds miraculous in this day and age but there you go. Honestly, this should be the standard and not the exception but some game companies are just too greedy these days, even if some microtransactions "don't affect gameplay," even though unlockable skins are really satisfying to get.

Tangent aside, it will be interesting to see what kind of unlockable skins Jedi: Fallen Order will offer. We're pretty sure that there will be some new costumes for Cal but fans are hoping that we get skins that transform the lead character into more well-known Star Wars characters like Luke Skywalker or Obi-Wan Kenobi. Bonus points if Starkiller gets a skin too.

Fans will be able to purchase Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order next month on November 15. The game will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
