Not a lot of actors in Hollywood can say that they were given the privilege of working with the one and only Harrison Ford, let alone starring alongside him in the Star Wars franchise. Well, John Boyega was given that opportunity, and considering how they shared a lot of screen time during The Force Awakens, we can safely say that the two actors actually clicked.

However, it turns out that the Han Solo actor tried messing with Boyega when filming Episode VII and during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the British-Nigerian actor recalled how Ford tried to make him feel that he didn't like him initially. When Kimmel asked Boyega if the Hollywood icon tried pulling his trademark antics on him, he shared: "Oh yeah! For sure".

He continued: "It went on for two weeks because I think I haunted him back and it was like that trial by fire, like, 'yeah, you're one of the good ones.' You know, it was that kind of feel." Boyega would then reveal that he sneaked him to dinner and that's where their friendship began to blossom. Check out a clip from the interview below:

Despite ending their Star Wars tenures in 2019's The Rise of Skywalker, it's safe to say that Boyega and Ford maintained their friendship outside of the franchise which is pretty cool. It's a shame though that we were robbed of seeing more interaction between Han Solo and Finn.

Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy is available to stream on Disney+.
