Star Wars Gets Glamorous With New Barbie Dolls From Mattel

It looks like Star Wars is getting glamorous new toys from Mattel.

According to Geek Tyrant, the multinational toy manufacturing and entertainment company just recently unveiled a new line of Star Wars-inspired Barbie dolls, and the merchandise looks glories. Inspired by the original concept art created for Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy, the Star Wars x Barbie collection offers a fashionable reimagining of iconic Star Wars characters.

Young Star Wars fans can now play with stylish versions of a Stormtrooper, Rey, C-3PO, and Chewbacca. The characters don't necessarily look like themselves – it would be odd to see C-3PO wearing women's clothes. Instead, Mattel offers dolls that take elements from these Star Wars icons.
