Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Is Selling Lightsaber Hilts As Scrap Metal

Disneyland is certainly going out of its way to make sure every experience at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge is fully immersive. For starters, you get the chance to build your own lightsabers at Savi's Workshop. And in case you want to customize your weapon's hilt, all you have to do is ask the Gatherers for "scrap metal."

It has been revealed by Disneyland News Today that the lightsaber hilt pieces are now available for purchase at Galaxy's Edge. Although you usually buy an entire set to create the lightsaber in the first place, most of the pieces are eventually discarded and collected by the Gatherers. These spare parts are then made available for anyone looking for "scrap metal" around Savi's Workshop.

The pieces are sold for $19.99 each, which is helpful if you have already custom-built your lightsaber. However, you will still need to purchase the full $199.99 package to get the main part of the hilt that includes the kyber crystal and crystal igniter.

Speaking of kyber crystals, these in-demand items are reportedly out of stock at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Hopefully, the crystals will soon be restocked so visitors can continue to enjoy their Galaxy's Edge experience.

Star Wars Galaxy's Edge is now open at Disneyland.
