Any Star Wars fan would love to get into Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at Disneyland for a chance to hang out with Chewbacca. However, the ride actually features other Galaxy's Edge guests as your co-pilot. Luckily, there's a secret way to get Chewie to be a part of the experience and some clever fans found a way to unlock it.
In Smuggler's Run, Han Solo teams up with Hondo Ohnaka on a mission. The guests are given roles as pilots, engineers or gunners and although the attraction does feature Chewbacca, Han usually communicates with Hondo. Which should work out fine for most people since not everyone can speak Shyriiwook.
But are you hoping to feel like Han during the fun times in A New Hope where Chewie wouldn't stop yelling at you? The guys from the FreshBaked YouTube channel figured out a secret Chewbacca mode in Smuggler's Run which removes Hondo so you're left to deal with an irate Wookiee. The hack requires the cooperation of the pilots, engineers, and gunners so it's probably best to try the attraction as a group. This way, you and your friends can follow the instructions and enjoy a ride with Chewbacca's roars. Which, to be honest, is probably the best way to try Smuggler's Run.
