Star Wars Fans Unhappy with The Mandalorian Pulling a Game of Thrones and Removing Jeans Guys

There is little doubt that the Star Wars Universe has several minor characters who became fan-favorites like 4-LOM and Willrow Hood. The latest addition to the list happens to be Jeans Guy, a crew member who ended up in a scene in The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 4. However, it looks like Lucasfilm decided to edit Jeans Guy out of the sequence. Interestingly, fans are disappointed with the show pulling a Game of Thrones movie.

Last year, viewers noticed that a coffee cup had been left in the banquet scene in the Game of Thrones Season 8 episode The Last of the Starks. This instantly led to several memes and a minor backlash, making HBO decide to digitally erase the cup.

Sadly, the same thing has happened to Jeans Guy, who was digitally erased from Chapter 12: The Siege. However, the disappearance of the accidental character is making Star Wars fans unhappy.

It's not exactly a huge surprise that people are upset over Jeans Guy being digitally removed from the episode. After all, fans already had "action figures" planned for the character and some were hoping to dress as him for next Halloween. Although it is unlikely that The Mandalorian will restore Jeans Guy into the episode, there is little doubt that fans will never forget him.

Chapter 12: The Siege was directed by Carl Weathers and it aired on November 20. The next episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on December 4.
